I completely agree.  Playing a game of squash, taking a group exercise class, going for a swim, or joining a recreational sports team are all great ways to sweat, get out of the house, and help you get through winter!  

Some other suggestions from posters have been winter camping, hiking, sitting by a fire, yoga, drinking hot cocoa cocoa, or broom ball.  Hope this helps!]]></description>
